What, then, does you heart
What, then, does you heart tell you to do? Does your heart say "keep it all, it's mine and I worked hard for it"? Well, then you might want to question who it is that really lives in you. Does your heart say "Give to those who have so little when you have so much"? Well, then maybe you have the right spirit. God/Jesus wants us to support those in need. I tithe because it is so little to give for so much good. I tithe because the church can give to those in real need better than I can (I don't give a red cent to those panhandlers I see everywhere. If they need help, there are churches all over that are more than willing to help). So, don't give? Are you really that selfish and self-centered? Or do you give to be unselfish and Christ-centered? The choice is apparently yours.
