Traveling, publishing the books and even renting the space for the conferences cost money; everything costs money, advertising costs money. I think there should be an option for people to pay. I know when she came to orlando a few months back,you paid during the day and it was free for the night.Money should not be the main empahsis,however operations cost money,that much I cannot dispute. I honestly could not have said this any better myself. As I've stated before, those of us who are TRULY in RELATIONSHIP with God saw this all coming to a head a couple of years ago. People need to get their own minds back and stop worshipping these mean people who pick-pocket you every chance they get. Some even claim to be 'INTERNATIONAL Ministries!' Claiming that when you give, you're also giving to help the 'poor' in Africa and wherever else they can think up. Do your RESEARCH people. If your wealth (and seriously lack there of in most cases) is becoming increasingly LESS, you need to stop and think about the game that's being played. Most of the so-called BISHOP'S, PASTOR'S, Co-PASTOR'S, EVANGELISTS, APOSTLES, PROPHET'S, PROPHETESSES (what the heck ever happended to REVEREND's???? guess they didn't make enough money) stopped PREACHING the GOSPEL YEARS AGO! I heard J. Bynum "preaching" the other day something about "it's LAW that another woman has her eyes on your man!" What the ....??!!! I'm still looking through my Bible for that one! I swear, all BARK and no (real) bite! And Paula White...(LOL) don't even get me started on that 'poor white messed up Mississippi girl.' I'd like to see her plastic surgery bill. I have one word....religon. It sounds to me that you are bound by a religious spirit. It's easy to make "cut and dry comments, and draw such final conclusions" when you have the spirit of discernment. Before you pray for Bishop Weeks, wait and hear from God on it and see if he wants you to pray on his behalf. I think Weeks saying that the devil made him do it is a cop out. A mirror was held up to his face and he doesn't like what he sees so he blames the devil. He obviously has some anger issues that he needs to work on. You can't fix what you don't believe is broken. Until he repents and admits his wrong doing....there's no hope. As far as judging goes, I know that whatever standard I judge someone else I will also be judged. Is it judgement to call a sin a sin?

At the end of this conference she called for a couple of prayer lines, one of which she mentioned was "a $1,000 line." This one poor lady 'all caught up' and got in the $1,000 line for prayer." When she got to the front (and wasn't holding her $1,000 "gift-offering") Ms. Bynum embarrassed her and told her, 'honey you must have misunderstood, this is the $1,000 line' and the poor lady, who was only seeking prayer was escorted out of the line. Now, personally, I stopped WORSHIPPING PEOPLE a couple of years ago. I suggest you do the same!

I know several ministrys & preachers personally & they need that friend - people that can tell them they when they are wrong or just listen -Trust me they need ministering as well, just as they minister to us. And I try to be that to by pastor friends. I feel they should be required to to seek counseling on a regular bases as well as marriage & family counseling. I pray that this situation (b/c of their position in this world) will bring domestic abuse to light showing that it is strong in families where there is a preacher/pastor or teacher of the Word. Let's not forget the wife that killed her husband because he abused her. He would preach to the church & go home and abuse her. Domestic abuse is an international problem that needs to be corrected by the masses. No there are no Wolves in Sheep's Clothing here. I see all teachers as God's word as men and women 1st. Perhaps you have had a bad experience w/the church or a minister. And this experience has marred your view. Please don't let this cause you to continue to look down on the church. The church is a wonderful and glorious place to learn- You learn abt God's Word, how the handle daily situations, it brings abt a calm/a peace to you and most importantly it brings you closer to God. I know, you say Bishop Weeks should also have all of this-peace and understandng. But you can only obtain this if you are willing to let God in. Somewhere along the way he lost GOD-he lost his way. I pray that you find a church that teaches god's word- not how to find wealth in God- But teaches God's word. The Bible also says that there is nothing new under the sun. What happened to the Weeks has happened before as we all know and it will happen again. What makes this so shocking is that these are people who teach the Word of God and they have been seen on television the world over. There are a million reasons we can come up with as to why this happened. I just want to remind you of God's servant "David." David committed terrible sins in the Eyes of God, but he asked for and received forgiveness. I hate this terrible thing happened. It hurts my soul. We as the Body of Christ must condemn what happened, but we cannot become judgmental, example: He must have done this or that, or no, she must have done this or said that. To us it should not make any difference. I agree with you 100% on what you have said. On sunday morning my pastor made some comments about the incident about Junita Bynum. From the pulput he was questioning whether the incident really happened, it was her word against his etc. I was very disappointed by his remarks because he never took a stand against domestic violence.He never once mentioned that a man should never hit a woman. Reading your comments will probably give me the courage to address this on a one on one basis with him. I would like to know that the leader of my church will take a stand against domestic violence. I really appreciate your comments because I was not sure if anyone felt the same way I did.

Did your pastor not hear that there was an eye witness to the incident. So then it was not her word against her husband's. But the most important thing is that it should have been brought to the congregation in scriputal presence. That if a man loves himself he will love his wife. And if he loves himself he will not hurt or harm himself. And if the two do not walk in agreement. One should go to the east and the other to the west. When we as chritians take these opportunities to show how we are supposed to act and that is according to God's Word in our daily situations, we would not have what we have seen publized in the case of Junita and Bishops Week's case.

Very good comments. It is high time this behavior toward women be brought to the forefront and dealt with. It is the Lord who will judge sin, but is the responsibility of each man to cover his woman and be protect her from harm, not to do harm. It happens to much in the church and nobody wants to say anything for whatever reason. Not only is there spousal abuse, but there is also child abuse (physical and sexual), homosexual acts against children, and other sinful activity. It's time for it to end. It's time for the church to be the church and take a proactive approach in dealing with these issues before many are driven away and injured spiritually.

I do not agree with Bishop Weeks being a coward because he must stand before God for his faults as well as us; and God will make that call. Yes he is wrong, dead wrong, but he is still God's anointed, and we must keep our mouths off of him that we not cause ourselves harm. If you remember David saying I will not touch God's anointed. David had many chances to remove Saul. But he waited and allowed God to remove him. Even though Saul had been told by Samuel that he will no longer be King. Yet David kept his mouth as well as his hands off of Saul.......This situation has been going on throughout time. This is another attack by the enemy towards christian families. If you go back and look at Cain and Abel, Esau and Jacob, David and Absalom...This is an attack towards every christian family throughout this world. The devil attacks families because your first ministry is your home. If you can't minister to your own house, how can you minister outside to others. Why do I say this? I myself being a Saved, Holy Ghost filled sister, can empathize with all the comments made and the situation. Know one knows what goes on in anyone's household besides that husband and wife. You can talk to your friends and family, but behind closed doors, only we and God know what is real. I myself married twice, and my ex told my husband, "I have nothing bad to say about her except sometimes her mouth."
